Blue SC Speed and Cadence Sensor is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 146.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable device Works as advertised. I had issues with connecting the device to my bike due to the shape of the chain stay. Ended up mounting it upside down. Also, the wheel magnet does not fit the bladed spokes. I tried using a different magnet as recommended by Wahoo, but the sensor could not detect it. I have since changed wheels, and the original magnet is fine. Make sure to zip tie the sensor to the chain stay, as the rubber band is not secure. Once I sorted out these issues, I have not had to make any changes, and the device works fine. It always fires right up, and never loses communication.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant Sensors I purchased the Wahoo heart sensor and speed and cadence sensor this past spring to work with Map My Ride and Ride Buddy apps on my iPhone for my rides. I ride 2 to 4 times a week with a long ride on weekends, a +/-100 miles/week total, and both sensors have performed flawlessly. I can monitor and record all of the information I need on a ride and easily chart overall fitness progress and know when to push and when to take it easy. These sensors provide a way to see effort and progress without the large expense of a power monitoring set up of some sort. Great product, well designed, and very useful for heart rate monitor training. Before Wahoo, I add different sensors and two different displays to monitor speed and cadence, and heart rate information; Wahoo put it all on one device/display.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Connects to phone but not to computer I used a Wahoo Tikr heartrate monitor and a Garmin GSC-10 speed and cadence sensor with my Bontrager Trip 300 computer without any issues for two years. The Bontrager Trip 300 detects both Bluetooth and Ant+. I wanted to be able to connect both speed, cadence and heartrate all to my iphone 5s so I could use Zwift, so I purchased a Wahoo blue SC. It connects fine to my phone, but I cant get the Wahoo blue SC to connect to the computer. I can get the Wahoo Tikr to connect to the computer just fine but not the speed and cadence sensor. Both Wahoo and Bontrager say its an issue with the other company's product. Neither company has been much of a help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible features for the price! I purchased the Blue SC and TICKR at the same time, the added the REFLEKT screen. The amount of data available is AMAZING for just a bit over a hundred bucks! I use them with the Wahoo app for indoor training or running, and Ride With GPS on the road bike. WARNING: Be sure that your Bluetooth is on BEFORE YOU OPEN EITHER APP! If you open the app, then realize your Bluetooth is off, close the app, turn on Bluetooth, THEN reopen the app. This is mentioned in the web documentation. However, a guy in his 50s thinks it should be splashed in blood-red letters on every page. I tried several apps before I found my favorites. What a luxury to be able to pick from several apps to find your favorite. Let me see your Garmin do that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well from my testing This product was very easy to install and use, the problem I have with it is less a fault of Wahoo, and more by Strava who seems to work Wahoo in some way. (At the time of writing this, Strava recommends Wahoo products and Wahoo gives free Strava Premium for a month with certain purchases.) A major reason I bought this was so Strava would have accurate current speed measurements, however Strava only pulls the Cadence measurement and ignores the speed data all together. As feedback directly on this product, I do wish there was a way to attach this that utilized allen wrench tightening rather than zip ties or the rubber band provided. The rubber band seems insecure and zip ties are one use (cannot transfer between bikes) and feel cheap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesnt really work It is okay. When used in doors on a trainer it is more likely to stay connected to your app. It will mostly like not stay connected for longer than an hour before it moves too far away from the crank or wheel and not connect. It is impossible to use out on in the mountains. If you stay a perfectly flat road with no bumps it might stay connected for you entire journey but I highly doubt it. If it is used in the mountians forget about it, it will disconnect with in the first 500m and never reconnect. If you really want to know how fast you are going get a different device to do it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work - disappointed with the product Brand new out of the box. Installed it and can hear the sensors for Speed and Cadence clicking when wheel and crank are turning. Setup on my iPhone 6s Plus went as shown in the video. The sensor shows speed and cadence but the software does not display the speed and the cadence is 175. I've wasted 2 hours trying to make this work. Total waste of time and I'm disappointed with the product. Moreover the "Support" tab does not function on the website. I have half a mind to take the kicker and HR monitor and all the goodies back to the store and wait until the product quality improves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like all the others, mount sets it apart. This sensor is really the same as all the others I have used, except its mounting. I like that I can move this sensor between my bikes easily. I frequently switch between my road race, crit, and TT bike, so the rubber strap makes it a notch above for me.
