1KICKR SNAP Bike Trainer is rated out of 5 by 143.Rated 5 out of 5 by Cmils from Finally, riding indoors in the winter is fun! I've hated riding trainers for as long as I've been riding. For many years, I could withstand maybe 20 minutes of that torture before giving up. The Kickr SNAP has changed all that. Connected to excellent programs like Zwift and Fulgaz, it's the next best thing to riding outside. It simulates hills and provides data feedback all while you lose yourself riding in a virtual world. The quality construction of this trainer is obvious and its functions both in ride quality and connecting to the bike are excellent. I highly recommend a trainer-specific rear tire to eliminate tire squeal. This has been a serious game-changer for me.Date published: 2016-01-18Rated 4 out of 5 by Vin307 from 2 out of 3... so far 2 friends and I purchased a Kickr Snap each, 2 are working great so far, the 3rd is having an issue where it is overly difficult to pedal, and in such a state as it is not usable. The wahoo staff is working the ticket as I write this review, I hope this issue gets corrected or the trainer gets replaced if that is the course of action they determine that needs to be taken. I will update this when it is resolved, However I do like the trainer and the 2 that are working, work great. but if 66% is the best they can do then QA needs help? i hope to updae this and let you know that things turn out great.Date published: 2015-12-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Sailing_Nut from Makes indoor riding fun! I've only done a few workouts on the trainer so far, but I am VERY happy with it! My only complaint is that when using in conjunction with the BKOOL trainer software the grade that BKOOL is showing does not seem to accurately reflect how much resistance is on the trainer. I'm not sure if this is a KICKR issue or BKOOL. I have not yet reached out to BKOOL support on this. I wanted to first test with Zwift too to see how they compare, but my PC is having issues running Zwift at the moment. As the title says this TOTALLY motivates me to train indoors. I've never been able to make myself ride indoors before. Not I actually enjoy it!Date published: 2015-12-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott from Awesome I have been considering for many years to get a bike trainer, but since I live in central Florida I kept putting it off since there are very few days each year that I can't ride because of the weather. I finally broke down and got this trainer since I have an extra Trek road bike that I kept as a back up when my first bike was in the shop. I must say this trainer has all the feel of the real thing and when controlling the ride with my iPhone I can get just as good a fitness workout as I do when on the road without the fear of traffic. It is easy to setup and use and I can't recommend more as as trainer, but I have to add I still prefer the real thing. nfDate published: 2015-09-18Rated 3 out of 5 by kevin375 from works great....when it works I've been using the KICKR SNAP for just over a month. Overall, I love the product. It's easy to set up, synchs quickly with my iPhone and provides a realistic training experience that's virtually indistinguishable for a road ride. My one complaint, and it's a meaningful one, is that about every 3rd time I use the KICKR, it doesn't work. The Wahoo app on my iPhone shows a strong bluetooth connection but I cannot perform a spindown, nor does the app display power or speed. Multiple resets have no effect. I just need to walk away for a day and then try again.Date published: 2015-09-18Rated 5 out of 5 by artaks from What a great product! Worth every penny I paid ($699). This the best trainer I have ever had, after a long research and tryouts. Consistently working as it is described and advertised. I have tried Elite, CycleOps trainers, but Wahoo is really Wahooooo ! I am very happy with the product, built quality, setup. Right out of box it became obvious - this looks like a solid product and yes I was not mistaken after few indoor rides. I love it's weight. Noise level is very low as well. There is no single disadvantage I can outline. Thank you Wahoo. The best product in market !!!Date published: 2015-12-06Rated 4 out of 5 by RobH from A Quality Training Tool I use the Kickr Snap with trainerroad and love it. I have seen improvement on my ftp wattage by 30+ watts and expect to see more improvement. I love erg mode which let's me concentrate on my form rather than hunting for gears to match the recommended power during the workout. I am happy with the build quality of the Kickr Snap. The legs fold smoothly, the clamp is solid, and the whole product has significant mass that aids in a stable workout, especially when coming out of the saddle. The flywheel is well balanced, smooth as silk, and produces a satisfying whirr that is not overbearing in it's volume. Flimsy is not a word I would use to describe any part of the Snap. Aside from the quality of the Snap, the main reason I love the Kickr Snap is it let's me train smarter, and for that reason I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their cycling.Date published: 2015-09-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Paulcordell from Solid and reliable Wow!! What a difference from my tacx flow smart trainer , the tacx lasted 3 weeks before packing up! The trainer feels like it will last forever, the build quality is very good so solid and heavy. The road feel is very realistic due to the heavy flywheel and when connected to zwift amazing but alot harder than the tacx!! I guess you get what you pay for, I should have bought this first instead of wasting my time and money on the tacx. Shipping to the UK was about a week and a half. Going without zwift for a week and a half was baddddddd!!!!!! Buy if you want a reliable well made excellent trainer that's gonna last alot longer than your legs!!!!!!!Date published: 2016-07-18
