Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hoping the product get upgradd I would like to see the app get upgraded so that all the features work within not only iOS but also Android. It is sad that not only the features work in both products. Additionally there are times when it does not track on off-line workout. Overall this is still one of the best Heart Rate Monitors on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bluetooth HR Monitor for Runners! This device works great with my PEAR Sports app for running indoor/outdoor/treadmill, strength workouts, yoga, just about everything. I use this HR monitor with my Android phone and have good results. For best results, be sure that your paired device (phone) is within line of site when running. For example, bluetooth HR monitors will 'hang' and flat line several times during your run if your phone is in a waistpack at the back of your waist. I have no problems with this if I situate my pack in the front. Also, most bluetooth devices can't be used simultaneously (such as bluetooth earbuds and a bluetooth HR monitor) without experiencing the same 'hang' on your HR display. Just use regular wired earbuds when you use your HR monitor and you will be fine. I really enjoy the Wahoo Tickr X because it can be used with many different online exercise apps. The strap is comfortable to use, battery is easy to change and the device is flat and wears comfortably during any activity. Highly recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money Firstly the heart rate monitor is good. It connects to third party apps. I use it with Endomondo. It picks up some reps with the 7min workout but that is hit or miss. the main issue though is the wahoo apps. They are awful. The run fit app doesn’t work half the time. I have tried to do several fit tests and it doesn’t work. The app doesn’t register any records so you can’t monitor any improvements. If you use Nike + app wahoo only sends total time and distance. So you don’t get any splits. If you use the monitor without a phone it only tracks heart rate and time, not distance. So given a choice I would not buy again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TICKR X HRM review Purchased this HRM 1 month ago. It connects to Bluetooth and the apps that I have used so far pretty seamlessly so that's a plus. A few things that could be addressed....1. When wearing it without using any app, it seems to have a mind of its own. I wore it one day for the whole day and while I slept and when I viewed the Wahoo Fitness app (where I record my activities) the next day, it showed that I had 10 individual exercise sessions at different times of the day including while I slept. Not sure why this happens but its inconvenient since one has to go into the app history and manually delete each of these 10 activities. The other issue I have to mention here is more Wahoo Fitness app related than TICKER X related....In my opinion, there should be more activities to choose from when selecting a new workout. Currently there is only running, treadmill, cycling, indoor trainer, and indoor cycling. Some additional options that could be included are rowing, weight training, and bodyweight training. If I am able, I will come back and update this review as I notice other strengths/areas of opportunity for the TICKER X HRM.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate but....... I primarily purchased this to use with Strava for cycling in addition to using it for strength training and general fitness. I am still trying to figure out if Strava even works with the Wahoo platform as I've tried several times and still can't get them to "link" together. The Wahoo "Fitness" app should have a strength training option in addition to the others listed. Hopefully they add this in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wahoo Tickerx I really like the heart rate monitor purely for what it does. It stays synced fairly well, not perfectly but fairly well. From the research I did and from talking with friends the chest wrap heart rate monitor is the best, most accurate. The only issue I have is figuring out what to do with it. I have the runfit app on my phone and I use it while I work out to track my heart rate but then what? I thought the app or the hrm itself would be telling me what to do to improve my workouts or beeping if my hr got too high but none of that is happening. I assume it's on me to research and learn more though... I took the fitness test and once it knows what your hr zones are I can at least try to stay in the appropriate zones when I work out. There are some prebuilt workouts on the app but I've yet to try them.
