TICKR RUN Heart Rate Monitor is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not interface w/ Garmin I got this as an alternative to my garmin...NOT worth it. You pay for what you get (Cheap) Snapping on the unit is a design flaw. Always falls off!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall does it's job- some connectivity issues. Using with iSmoothRun app on both iPhone and Apple Watch Series 2, sometimes just the watch. It seems to have overlapping connectivity issues where it sometimes won't display distance ran, but I know it is connected because it's showing heart rate. After a crash on a 30km run (I think it was iSR's fault, not the TICKR) I switched to Strava with just the watch. I don't quite understand where the "advanced running metrics" are supposed to be, but they might be exclusive to the Wahoo tracking apps? Either way, it connects just fine now. I also feel like the strap is going to fall off at any point, unless I make it too tight, then it feels uncomfortable. It never truly falls off, it just feels like it and sometimes slips. I never get the confidence to just strap it on and go like I would hope for in something like this, but I suppose tech just isn't there yet. It does the job though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Data = workout efficiency Hardcore cyclist who's new to running. Been using Wahoo products for a year on the bike and bought this to stay in the same ecosystem as I start a new sport. Love the interface--everything is simple to understand and helpful in order to train efficiently. My only critique is that I would love to see Wahoo publish additional materials to help new runners understand the impact of things like Ground Contact Time or Vertical Oscillation. I've had to do additional research to understand just what these metrics are, and it would be helpful for a condensed "overview" or something like that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall I got a great deal on my TICKR RUN and I have used it daily for a few weeks now. It has been working great! I had never used a chest strap monitor before my TICKR RUN, but I love it. It fits well with the adjustable strap and it stays in place well, even when I am doing jumping exercises and HIIT. It measures my heart rate much better than my watch does. The RunFit app has nice features, which aid in knowing exactly what HR zone I am in at any given time. This is helpful to ramping-up or stepping-down my intensity. I do think the app is lacking in a few areas, but overall it is good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It sucks I purchased tickr run right before my mini marathon. There has not been one single week that I didn’t had to calibrate it. It works 2 days and 3rd day it requires calibration. There are times where I ran over a mile and still trying to get it work so I could log my rest of my workout. They have multiple apps, first of why have multiple apps, and features are not consistent between run fit and fitness app. I used it mainly for running. One app tells you in which zone (graphically red, blue, orange) you are in and other just gives you number so we need to figure it out. Will be returning it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not working I have had nothing but problems with my Tickr Run. Pairing with Zwift only works about 10% of the time. At this point I am dissatisfied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh. I was excited....but poor battery life. I got this for BT connectivity so I could Zwift on my bike or running and use an iOS device. When it finally arrived via some weird UPS/USPS shipping that didn't allow me to track progress; the battery was dead. So I replaced the battery, got in a run and it worked great. Next day I jumped on my bike and queued up Zwift- worked wonderfully... 3rd use at the gym to use my iPhone/Zwift on the treadmill; battery was dead. Wahoo support were responsive, send me an article to troubleshoot- but none of that is helpful when the battery is zapped after 2 uses. I've got an email out to Wahoo support expressing concerns on poor battery life. Let's see what happens. I got this because of the dual band signal, and I was annoyed my Garmin strap was ANT+ only..... but I can go about 4-6 months on the battery for my Garmin.
