1WAHOO KEY is rated out of 5 by 25.Rated 1 out of 5 by JimH from such an obnoxious solution to ANT+ on the iPad I have an iPad Pro on my trainer stand. I usually just keep the charger plugged into it. I hate that I have to unplug the iPad and plug this contraption into an adapter to get ANT+ working. Apple should really consider building ANT+ the the tablet and eliminate the need for a dongle (all Samsung Android Tablets support ANT without an adapter!). And buying this for $60, and the adapter for another $30 just adds to the cost unecessarily. Some of the devices I use do not support bluetooth. I really don't want to have to replace my training hardware just to get access to the apps on the iPad. /frustratedDate published: 2016-10-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Gribbett from It just works... Bought this about a month ago and it's great. Plugged into my iphone or my ipad and Bang all my apps just picked up all my sensors within seconds. So simple, with no issues so far...Date published: 2016-06-19Rated 4 out of 5 by scalpy38 from DOES THE JOB Bought the Wahoo key to be used on my iPad 3rd generation with VirtualTraining application. No problem at all, the applicaton recognizes my home trainer, cardio and cadence sensor on first connection. Nothing special to do. A true plug & play! Not 5 stars because I feel it overpriced!Date published: 2016-06-15Rated 3 out of 5 by Kstarrmd from Didn't work. Returned it Bought this for iPad and trainer road . Couldn't get it workingDate published: 2016-04-05Rated 2 out of 5 by Roadiedvm from Wahoo needs to make a key for Lightning Using this key with an iPhone 6 requires a 30 pin to lightning adapter and an extension if your phone is in, for example, a quadlock case so you can use it outdoors. It all works but that combination but results in a long tail of devices hanging from the Lightning port that easily jars loose when riding outdoors. It would help if the key was made for Lightning and didn't require an adapter; better would be if the key could mount without the aid of an extension; best of all would be if all the devices you use for bike workouts, including power meter, cadence meter and heart monitor connected using bluetooth so no key at all was required.Date published: 2016-04-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Nelson from 30pin connector? you've got to be kidding me... anyone have an Floppy Disk I can use to save my fitness data on? pretty much, same thing here.Date published: 2016-04-01Rated 4 out of 5 by mac973 from ricevitore wahoo key for ipad it works very good with my ipad and virtualtraining and cycleops powerbeam pro. but it is needed to buy the apple adapter....Date published: 2016-03-02Rated 1 out of 5 by Lisajane from Seriously needs an update You have to buy a connector too so not worth the money, the lightning plug has been out for so long they seriously need to update this, adds lots of unneeded bulk to the phone.Date published: 2016-03-02
