1WAHOO KEY is rated out of 5 by 26.Rated 2 out of 5 by Roadiedvm from Wahoo needs to make a key for Lightning Using this key with an iPhone 6 requires a 30 pin to lightning adapter and an extension if your phone is in, for example, a quadlock case so you can use it outdoors. It all works but that combination but results in a long tail of devices hanging from the Lightning port that easily jars loose when riding outdoors. It would help if the key was made for Lightning and didn't require an adapter; better would be if the key could mount without the aid of an extension; best of all would be if all the devices you use for bike workouts, including power meter, cadence meter and heart monitor connected using bluetooth so no key at all was required.Date published: 2016-04-03Rated 1 out of 5 by JimH from such an obnoxious solution to ANT+ on the iPad I have an iPad Pro on my trainer stand. I usually just keep the charger plugged into it. I hate that I have to unplug the iPad and plug this contraption into an adapter to get ANT+ working. Apple should really consider building ANT+ the the tablet and eliminate the need for a dongle (all Samsung Android Tablets support ANT without an adapter!). And buying this for $60, and the adapter for another $30 just adds to the cost unecessarily. Some of the devices I use do not support bluetooth. I really don't want to have to replace my training hardware just to get access to the apps on the iPad. /frustratedDate published: 2016-10-13Rated 2 out of 5 by cat4forever from Way overdue for Lghtning cable compatibility Works fine for ANT+ support. Still, needing to buy an $$$ Apple 30 pin-to-Lightning cable in 2015, when that standard is several years old?! Seems bizarre.Date published: 2015-12-29Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackie12344 from 30 pin connector in 2015? This must be an error. I can't find where you are selling a 2015 product. No confidence this will work with new phone and Concept II with PM5. Seems to be obsolete. Please clarify product description. Want it to work with new Concept II rower and current iPhone iOS, and Apple Watch.Date published: 2016-01-08Rated 5 out of 5 by kjrickert from Works perfectly Combining the wahoo key with the lighting converter simply allows me to run ant+ through my iPhone and iPad. This makes the mobile version of Trainerroad work perfectly.Date published: 2015-09-25Rated 1 out of 5 by Nelson from 30pin connector? you've got to be kidding me... anyone have an Floppy Disk I can use to save my fitness data on? pretty much, same thing here.Date published: 2016-04-01Rated 4 out of 5 by Gskalt from Does the job Product works great with my iPhone and iPad. Only enhancement I'd suggest is to make it compatible with the more recent plug instead of having to get the adapter. Would also be good to have the ability to charge it while it's being used as battery life could be a concern for longer training sessions (I.e., more than 5 hours on the bike).Date published: 2015-09-18Rated 1 out of 5 by Lisajane from Seriously needs an update You have to buy a connector too so not worth the money, the lightning plug has been out for so long they seriously need to update this, adds lots of unneeded bulk to the phone.Date published: 2016-03-02
