Blue SC Speed and Cadence Sensor is rated 4.3611 out of 5 by 72.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable device Works as advertised. I had issues with connecting the device to my bike due to the shape of the chain stay. Ended up mounting it upside down. Also, the wheel magnet does not fit the bladed spokes. I tried using a different magnet as recommended by Wahoo, but the sensor could not detect it. I have since changed wheels, and the original magnet is fine. Make sure to zip tie the sensor to the chain stay, as the rubber band is not secure. Once I sorted out these issues, I have not had to make any changes, and the device works fine. It always fires right up, and never loses communication.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant Sensors I purchased the Wahoo heart sensor and speed and cadence sensor this past spring to work with Map My Ride and Ride Buddy apps on my iPhone for my rides. I ride 2 to 4 times a week with a long ride on weekends, a +/-100 miles/week total, and both sensors have performed flawlessly. I can monitor and record all of the information I need on a ride and easily chart overall fitness progress and know when to push and when to take it easy. These sensors provide a way to see effort and progress without the large expense of a power monitoring set up of some sort. Great product, well designed, and very useful for heart rate monitor training. Before Wahoo, I add different sensors and two different displays to monitor speed and cadence, and heart rate information; Wahoo put it all on one device/display.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work - disappointed with the product Brand new out of the box. Installed it and can hear the sensors for Speed and Cadence clicking when wheel and crank are turning. Setup on my iPhone 6s Plus went as shown in the video. The sensor shows speed and cadence but the software does not display the speed and the cadence is 175. I've wasted 2 hours trying to make this work. Total waste of time and I'm disappointed with the product. Moreover the "Support" tab does not function on the website. I have half a mind to take the kicker and HR monitor and all the goodies back to the store and wait until the product quality improves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible sensor Bought Blue SC sensor to use with my Cyclometer app. The sensor is a piece of junk, stopping intermittently and unpredictably so that my Cyclometer app would stop and say "... An app is trying to access your program ..." and would stop the program from running until you say Ok and then restart the program. After the sensor stopped my program three (3) times and thereby losing all data, I literally ripped the piece of junk off my Trek Madone 7S and literally threw the piece of junk into the Pacific Ocean as I was riding along HWY 1. I would NEVER buy the sensor again, NEVER. I hated this piece of junk and was thrilled to throw the device into the ocean! Do nor buy this sensor unless you want to lose data and have a sensor that intermittently works!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BlueSC on my bike This is a good sensor. 1. easy to install: just tie to your chainstay. and add magnet to your crank and wheel. Just any neodimium magnet is OK. 2. easy to link: I'm using my iPhone 5, and there is no problem to use after just once pairing. but there is one thing inconvenient: the sensor is tied to stay. time to time, the gap adjustment between sensor and magnet is changed and then the record is missing. But i can't hard tieing. I'm using Ulte 6800 and Campa Scirocco. I have to adjust the sensor location/gap when I changing the wheel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blue SC great unit with a small inconvenience. Overall, I love the combo of my Blue SC and REFLKT+. The ease of setup displays and information are great. But, there doesn't seem to be any way to have two or more bike set up at one time. I have 3 bikes that I use regularly: road, CX/rain/commuter & track all with their own Blue SC units. I have found that if I change bikes I can only have only one of them installed in the Wahoo Fitness app at a time. So, when I change bikes I have to go in and delete the SC from one to reinstall the one from the bike I'm using. I can't have all three in the app and have it connect to the one I'm using. All three will appear connected to the app and will function when checked until I start a workout then the new one just gives a blank for speed & cadence until I delete the one I'm not using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly I have owned this for two or three months. I was apprehensive after reading reviews of some speed and cadence sensors being difficult to setup and trouble with synching every time you ride. I am pleased to say that is not the case with the Wahoo. I set it up easily the first time. I use it for mountain biking and it has made my iPhone app tremendously more accurate at gauging speed and distance. It synchs automatically every time. All I do is start the app and ride!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits great, works great, and is accurate This was my first bike sensor that I bought in a long time. After reading a number of reviews I decided to purchase. I love the dual ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart capability because I am not tied to any company in regards to bike computers so it allows me to choose the one I want and not worry about the sensor. Set up was a breeze, it is secure and I have not had an issue on any ride. It connected the first time and I have never had a loss of data!
