1TICKR X Workout Tracker with memory is rated out of 5 by 143.Rated 3 out of 5 by VanillaGorilla314 from Wonderful Product with Weird Bugs Absolutely love the product. I highly recommend the product if you are not listening to music. If you are listening to music, the app may randomly change music for you. This added feature is super annoying.Date published: 2016-08-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Animal from A great idea but needs work The Heart rate function is as good as any other brand, polar etc. The rep counter should be a game changer However, I have used this product for two weeks with the 7 minute workout app and have found that it doesn't accurately record the number of reps.Date published: 2016-08-17Rated 2 out of 5 by yvancouver from The Android app lacks a lot a features Overall i am relatively happy with my TICKRX, but if you are serious a training, like setting heart rate thresholds notifications, or just having a functioning double tap feature, you should consider buying a iphone when you purchase the TICKRX if you don't have one already. Android users can only be disappoint by the app wahoo is offering for them.Date published: 2016-08-09Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeG from Solid product! I've owned a Tickr Run HRM for a long time and the Tickr X is another solid product. I use it when I don't want to carry my phone and to track my non-running workouts.Date published: 2016-08-08Rated 3 out of 5 by afsswim14 from Good not Great I will begin by saying I do not have extensive experience with HRMs, but this is my second (my first paired with my Timex watch about 4 years ago). This is the most sophisticated HRM/activity monitor I have ever used. I very much like the ability to use it without my phone in hand. Also, I love the double tap function on the monitor face, and the ability to customize how it functions. I feel the phone app is lacking in ways and the summary page is not my favorite, though maybe it will grow on me. At least once I accidentally recorded a run workout as a bike workout, and have not found a way to edit the type of workout in the app. This is frustrating, and I think an upgrade to address this would be stellar. I do like that the app will audibly announce loads of data for each lap. This is very useful on the bike when you need to keep your eyes on the road. I have only had my monitor for 3 weeks, and thus I think there is much to get used to. I bought this product largely for triathlon training, and I was very disappointed that though it is water resistant, it is not good for swimming unless you are very slow and swimming in calm open water. Maybe it will work for you, but the second I push off a wall or jump into the pool, it either comes apart or falls down to my bellybutton. Swimming is where I was most interested in getting data, and that is why I am rather disappointed with this product. I will continue to use it for bike and run, but the price I paid would have been worth it if the product delivered for swimming. For biking and running the product is comfortable and I do not really notice it is there. It is easy to setup and the app pairs with other services like Garmin Connect and Strava, which I use, but I am not quite sure yet how to efficiently use all of them at the same time. At this point, I wish I would have gotten one of the other less expensive models. In conclusion, I would recommend this product for avid bikers and runners looking to get loads of cool features out of their activity tracker, but if you are looking for something that meets all the basic needs, then get one of the less expensive models, and if you want something for triathlon, then maybe look for something more swim/triathlon specific. Thanks to Wahoo for pioneering cool products like this, and I hope to see some improvements for triathletes in the future. Keep up the great work!Date published: 2016-08-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Firefighterlvfd from Simple and easy to use I've been wanting a HR monitor to use with my workouts. A co worker had this one and it seemed like it was perfect. Is it? I'm not sure, but do I love it? Yes. I've only been training with it for a week now but it's great to train in the correct HR zone for my goals and to track my results through the week. The apps for it are awesome as well. I would recommend this HR monitor to anyone looking to buy one. I bought the X when they had 20% off and free shipping but now that I've used it I would have paid full price. I've been doing a mix between HIIT on an air bike and 60 min rides just for cardiovascular fitness. Going to do an intense cross fit workout and see what that does to my HR. I've done them before and I know I'm working hard based on my cure workouts. If your skeptical just get it, you'll really like it.Date published: 2016-08-01Rated 2 out of 5 by FireCaptain Sims from Not as good as expected Got the TICKERX for Father's day. Been shopping the TICKR for about a year . Very disappointed in the device. Does not record all workouts. Also will not sync within 3 hours of a workout. App is terrible. Overall it seems to accurately record heart rate but it does not "Sense" your workout like a Fitbit. You have to tell it what your doing. If you go from an elliptical to a treadmill you will have to select in the app. Again this is not what I expected. Resisting sending back but still have a few days left in my 30 day return window.Date published: 2016-07-07Rated 2 out of 5 by Mike T from Worked for awhile At first the TICKR X worked great but then I noted that the the HR reading was very inaccurate. No matter how much I adjust the strap I can't get it to read correctly.Date published: 2016-06-24
