Rated 5 out of 5 by from Met My Expectations I have just started using the TICKR monitor and so far it meets or exceeds my expectations based upon the product specs and advertising. First, it linked flawlessly and quickly to BT. Then the data was read by all three apps I'm using: the Wahoo fitness app, Runkeeper, and the iOS Health app. All three apps have recorded accurately the data simultaneously during my fitness walking workouts. The unit is comfortable to wear and the epitome of simplicity to turn on. Just snap both ends of the adjustable strap onto the unit and you're good to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compatibility may be difficult with certain Apps. I've been using the TICKR for a few rides. I only use this for cycling, and indoor spinning. I only use the wahoo app when spinning, and have had no problems. I use RideGPS and the Wahoo app. Only once, did the RideGPS app pick up my HR, which is frustrating, I tried it with Strava twice, and it also did not pick up my HR, but, Strava began to stop mid ride, so I stopped using it. If you only use your HR with Wahoo's app, your going to be very happy, but, if you plan to use other apps, you may find problems. Also, the first two rides, the lights would not stay on, and would not connect, I would have to unclip them from my chest strap and reconnect them, for it to work. The third and forth rides, have not had this problem. I have an iPhone 6S Plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well done, Wahoo. I bought this device along with Kickr Snap to train indoors and I should say it's of excellent quality. The strap is comfortable and the sensor does not slide down during training.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for My Garmin HRM Bought about a month ago, and use it 4-5 times a week. Love the Strap and the way it connects. Solid design and very comfortable. No Issues. Other than the Strap the other highlight are the lights on the front. I know it has recognized my heart rate, before connecting to my Garmin 810. Good product. BTW: Wahoo support has by far been the best I have experienced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy to use Took a little while to set up with strava on my samsung phone, but once set up is very easy to use, it seems accurate and comfortable to wear. Does everything it said it would and I need it to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works good but with an issue. I bought the Ticker to replace a Garmin Premium heart rate sensor. The Garmin unit has a horrible battery cover that will fail. The Wahoo Ticker strap is very comfortable and the unit connects to all my gear. It functions well. The only issue I have, which is a big disappointment, is that in cooler or low humidity conditions when you don't sweat as much, the unit stops working or becomes intermittent. I have apply dialectic gel to the pick up pads on the belt in those conditions and still have trouble. My Garmin premium never had this issue. This has been an issue for many heart rate monitors for years. I suggest Wahoo update their circuit. If they need help, my brother designed a circuit 20 years ago that works, when he had his company that produce exercise equipment. Many internal circuits have been copied from the original Polar circuit that had the same issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inaccurate The main problem is that the tickr for some reason will show on my Elemnt computer very high hr when I begin my bike ride. I really don't need inaccurate data that I have to edit for analysis. We are talking 190 bpm at rest. This has become more persistent and it takes about 5-10 minutes for the tickr to settle down. This is very annoying and makes me suspect that the data during the ride is also inaccurate - I hit 198 bpm on an all out effort. I am 55 yrs old and haven't topped 191 in years. Tried wahoo support but all they did was refer me to dcrainmakers website. I'm dissatisfied because I believe the tickr has flaws that can't be fixed. Wahoo needs to first admit there is a problem before they can fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Easy to Use I have trained with heart rate monitors since 1988. Up until recently, I always used other products. My other product kept dropping my heart rate. Why use a HR monitor if its not accurate? I switched to the TICKR, and it has been a real eye-opener. Its dependable, I know whether its working by looking at the LEDs, I love the apps, I cycle, walk, and do strength training and there is an app that covers each. I am a satisfied customer.
